Certe dolcezze interiori sono roba da bambini! Non sono segno di perfezione. Non dolcezze; dolore ci vuole. Le aridità, la svogliatezza, l'impotenza, questi sono i segni di un amore vero. Il dolore è piacevole. L'Esilio è bello, perché si soffre e possiamo così dare a DIO qualche cosa. Il dono del nostro dolore, delle nostre sofferenze è una gran cosa, che non possiamo fare in Paradiso( GB, 35 ).
